As a Digital Sales Consultant you will apply a value-based methodology to achieve goals and position for long-term results. We sell consultatively, building account plans, identifying and developing leads, setting appointments, conducting account research, leading marketing calls, and creating relationships that lead to new opportunities.

•    Must be passionate about Online, Digital, and Social Media with the desire to work in a fast paced start up environment, grasping new concepts quickly.
•    Excellent active listening, problem solving, and closing skills with a contagiously positive attitude!
•    Impeccable business judgment; professional distinction in thought leadership and innovation.
•    Strong knowledge & familiarity with Internet online media math (CPM/CPC/CPA), advertising models, Ad optimization, audience trends, and technologies.
•    Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience (5+ years in a B2B sales or business development role in software, or sponsorship sales) is preferred, but not required.

Description


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development with a strategic mindset and uses a tactical approach. This person networks diligently qualifying relationships through multiple efforts including phone, email, web presentations, chamber meetings, and networking events. The DSC will identify prospects that are assigned, as well as hunted, turn leads into signed contracts, while driving referral revenue ensuring aggressive sales objectives are met.

Responsibilities:
•    Lead the sales cycle: Identify prospects, relationship initiation, prepare, present and negotiate solutions.
•    Ability to explain complex technical concepts, (Exchange Ads, Run of Site, SEM, SEO) while lending expertise of pre-sales questions, technical, and service information.
•    Gathering, analyzing, and applying business knowledge of the online recruitment industry into the preparation of sales proposals that meet customer's needs, based on competitive market analysis.

Daily Expectations:
•    Use our proven Sales Activity Model to identify leads, qualify, prepare and present proposals to B2B prospects.
•    Ability to excel in a primarily self-directed NEW BUSINESS quota-based environment running C-Level conversations.
•    Contact daily, at minimum, 40 contacts from protected lead territory to achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals.
•    Turn prospective leads into signed contracts, while steadily growing a pipeline of new clients for future sales.
•    Use excellent time-management and organizational skills demonstrating the highest personal and ethical standards through each communication.

Compensation:
Commission 1st year $94K
